GRADES AND REFUSAL OF ENTRY
The organisers will have access to Grading Lists,
and reserve the right to assign players to specific
tournaments or to refuse entry.
There is a late fee of £4 for
entries postmarked after
Sunday 15th January 2006, and a late
fee of £6 for
entries received at the Congress, on the door.
Early arrival is advised so that we can ensure
pleasant playing conditions. This is particularly
relevant to those not yet regestered or paid.
REPAIRING AND LATE ARRIVALS
Those players without an opponent will be repaired
30 minutes after the start of the round. The rate of
play will be adjusted accordingly.We will endeavour
to ensure all players get a game, even where there
is an odd number.
Players not present after 30 minutes, will be deemed
to have lost by default unless a suitable pairing can
still be made.
HALF POINT BYE
A half point bye will be granted in any of Rounds 1 to
4, if requested on the entry form.
The organisers reserve the right to alter the prizes if
the entries deem this appropriate.
No player can be awarded more than one prize.
No ungraded player may win a grading prize.
In the event of a tie, cash prizes will be shared.

42 moves in 105 minutes, then 15 minutes to
complete the game.

All sections are Swiss Tournaments and players
will be expected to play in all rounds.
This will be as soon as possible after the close of
the final round, expected to be approximately
7.00 pm on the Sunday.

SMOKING - There is No Smoking in the playing
room or the canteen. There is a however a
designated area outside the canteen. Please
dispose of cigarette ends in the litter bins provided.
In the event of a dispute, the decision of the
Tournament Controller on all interpretations of
the rules is final.
